\”CHEYENNE – A local woman is facing a flurry of welfare fraud charges after allegedly scamming the state out of more than $27,000.
Letisha M. Hernandez was arrested Sept. 3 at her house in the 500 block of Secret Valley Trail on a warrant.
The warrant was for 17 counts:
– Nine counts of obtaining food stamp benefits by false statement, misrepresentation and/or failure to disclose a material fact.
– Six counts of allegedly doing the same for Medicaid benefits. …\”
